Friday, May 29, 2009: 3rd Annual Bluegrass for Babies - This special edition of The Carolina Inn's "Friday's on the Front Porch" series will benefit the Children's Hospital's Newborn Critical Care Center. Join us from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., get a jumpstart on the weekend and enjoy live music by The Gravy Boys. The Inn offers its classic southern buffet as well as Tiny Vittles menu with full bar service and plenty of comfortable seating under the shady oaks and magnolias on the Inn's front lawn. Sunday, May 31, 2009: 3rd Annual Swim for Smiles Youth Triathlon - Open to kids from ages 6-18, the Swim for Smiles Youth Triathlon is a USA-Triathlon sanctioned-event and includes two courses for ALL levels of participants. $40/individual; $100/relay team.
