Second annual Equine Extravaganza to benefit N.C. Children's Hospital

Horse stunt Join us Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12 for two magical nights of horses and wholesome family entertainment at the Equus Extraordinaire horse show. The show is held in conjunction with the second annual Equine Extravaganza, a three-day horse expo and festival at the N.C. State Fairgrounds, and will feature thrilling trick rides, dancing horses, and amazing feats of horsemanship.

The Equus Extraordinaire horse show is proud to welcome N.C. Children's Hospital's patient ambassadors, who will represent the Children's Hospital at this special event. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. And don't forget, a dollar from every ticket purchased comes back to the Children's Hospital. Be sure to purchase yours today!

Corks for Kids returns September 12-13 with two days of wine tasting events to benefit N.C. Children's Hospital

Chapel Hill Wine Company, Vine Street Imports, and Bordeaux Fine & Rare have partnered once again to bring you the third annual Corks for Kids, a two-day wine tasting extravaganza benefiting N.C. Children's Hospital. Last year's Corks for Kids event raised $50,000 for N.C. Children's Hospital, and organizers hope to better that total in 2008. Click HERE to learn all about it!

September 12, 2008, 6:30 p.m.: Corks for Kids' Winemakers Dinners
Held at Bin 54 (Chapel Hill), Acme Food & Beverage (Carrboro), and Pazzo (Chapel Hill, the Corks for Kids' winemaker dinners will feature 19 winemakers from Australia and New Zealand. Tables of 6-10 people with a winemaker for an intimate evening of discussion and fun. The evening features a five-course meal, each course paired with one or two different wines. September 13, 2008, 7-10 p.m.: Corks for Kids' Main Event
Join us at the Friday Center for this much-talked-about wine tasting event featuring 19 winemakers and over 80 wines—all available for purchase with 100 percent of the proceeds going to N.C.
