
Volunteers play an important role in ensuring the success of the year-round N.C. Childrens Promise campaign. The Promise hosts events and fundraisers throughout the year and is always looking for dedicated volunteers to donate their time and expertise to this cause. Examples of volunteer opportunities include:
Eric Montross Fathers Day Basketball Camp
- Be a scorekeeper
- Help at camper meals
- Assist with registration
Carolina Kids Classic
- Help out at Registration
- Be a hole-in-one watcher
- Assist with refreshment carts
N.C. Childrens Promise Radiothon and Telethon
- Answer phones
- Tally donations
- Greet visitors
Kids Cards Program
- Serve on Volunteer Board
- Work at special sales events
- Assist with patient coloring parties
Year-Round Tasks
- Office/Administration work
- Assisting with other events in the community
- Volunteering professional services (i.e. graphic design, marketing consults, printing, etc.)
